George Rauscher was born in Anchorage and raised in Sutton, Alaska. He has been a small business owner for over 30 years, operating a construction company and a commercial fishing operation. He served on the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Assembly before being elected to the Alaska House of Representatives in 2016.
