Representative Dickie Drake is a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. He is a graduate of Leeds High School and attended Jefferson State Community College. He served in the United States Army and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He is a retired business owner and a member of the Leeds First Baptist Church.
