Bill Wielechowski was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Seton Hall University and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. He moved to Alaska in 1995 and has worked as an attorney. He served in the Alaska House of Representatives from 2005 to 2006 and has served in the Alaska Senate since 2007.
